Esthetician

The program will expose the students to a branch of anatomical science that deals with the overall health and well being of the skin, the largest organ of the human body. As an esthetician, this person is devoted to and professionally occupied with the health and beauty of the skin. Estheticians provide preventative care for the skin and offer treatments to keep the skin healthy and attractive. They may also manufacture and sell and apply cosmetics. After graduation, the student will take the state written and practical licensing examination. Once a student clocks in for the day, that student will be in theory class, working on practical applications, or on the clinic floor.
